The research portfolio of the new Center is envisioned into eight  broad verticals: (i) Solar Photovoltaics (ii) Battery and Supercapacitor (iii) Hydrogen Energy, (iv) Waste to Wealth (v) Smart Grid And Mobility (vi) Wind And Hydro Energy (vii) Energy Policy and Regulations and (viii) Theoretical Modeling. Special emphasis will be given to capacity building and R&D related to sustainable energy.
